Student Action with Farmworkers (SAF)

Biography:

SAF is a national non-profit organization based in Durham, NC, that has been working towards justice for farmworkers since 1992. Our mission is to bring students and farmworkers together to learn about each other’s lives, share resources and skills, improve conditions for farmworkers and build diverse coalitions working for social change. SAF is committed to educating students and community members about farmworker issues and fostering leadership development among students and young activists within the farmworker movement. SAF has over 10 years of experience conducting trainings and educational presentations for students and community members across the U.S.
